YOUR GUIDES THROUGH GLACIER PARK.

Al Boy, the owner and lead guide of Sacred Trails Guides and Outfitters, has 20+ years of experience trekking Glacier National Park and surrounding wilderness areas. Al started his career as a guide and wrangler at Jakes Trail Rides in Big Sky Montana. He prospered there for five years before moving home to continue his career with Great Divide Guiding and Outfitting in East Glacier Montana for an additional 13 years.

Today, Al is joined by his family to provide their collective knowledge and experience of local trails in Glacier National Park to visitors. Our guides have personally ridden several equine-accessible trails throughout Glacier National Park and have vast experience with using horses for guiding and hunting. We hope you join us on an unforgettable journey soon!

OUR FAMILY

Al's immense knowledge of the Blackfeet Indian culture was attained from his family, which was one of the prominent families of our Blackfeet Tribe.

Some of these family members include:

Mrs. Cecile Boy - LastStar of the extinct Small Robe ban - Al’s grandmother, who was a renowned interpreter for all the nonnative persons who came to the Blackfeet Tribe.

Mr. Oscar Boy - Al’s grandfather, who was a prominent first Blackfeet Tribal Council Member.

Mr. James Boy Sr. - Al’s father, who was known as one of the last true and fluent Elders for the Blackfeet Tribe.

Al is privileged to know his family's stories that pertain to the Small Robe ban of the Blackfeet Tribe. He looks forward to sharing what he can with anyone who'd like to listen.

“What a great experience from start to finish! This place is friend and family owned/managed in the best way possible - you immediately are made to feel extremely welcome!”
